Do you have difficulty in getting to see a Doctor for a routine appointment during normal Surgery hours?

From the beginning of May 2009 we will be extending our hours and will have some early morning, evening and Saturday morning appointments that will be offered for non-urgent routine matters, reviews and follow-ups. The Doctor will not be able to carry our intimate examinations, take blood samples or undertake ECGs etc. as he/she will be working with limited support. This service is to help those who cannot get to normal surgeries.

For urgent acute problems patients are still able to attend either the Out of Hours Service tel. 08454 220 220 or the Gloucester Health Access Centre (GHAC) tel 01452 336290.

Please note the Reception staff will ask you the reason for your appointment to ensure that it is appropriate for one of these appointments.

The Surgery will be open for pre-bookable appointments only for the following additional hours:

Wednesday morning 07:00 to 08:00 (1 hour)
Thursday evening 18:30 to 20:00 (1 1/2 hours)
Saturday morning 08:00 to 10:00 (2 hours)

The pre-bookable only appointments will be with the GP that is on call, so will not necessarily be your regular GP.
