The district nursing team attached to the Practice work from the surgery and is in close contact with the doctors and staff.

Their duties are varied, but their priority is to provide skilled nursing care for acute, chronic and terminally ill patients in the familiar environment of their own homes when they are unable to travel to the surgery.

They also provide advice and support for families caring for the sick or elderly.
